New Alliance members

Thats right folks the Alliance are so desperate for good players they allowed Fizz,Vort and shunk to join up and make their guild better players.Sadly after 5 min we realized they were hopeless noobs and went on our way.But at least the memory was captured on film.Now in non-fiction news the evil that is Christmas is over so i want us to get back into the groove and try and get some raiding in before the expansion.

Nuance Does Teldrassil!

With the Alliance commemorated the last day before the honor system reset by setting the World Defense channel ablaze with scattered attacks all around Horde cities and camps, Nuance decided to retaliate by making the second of his one-man assaults on Alliance capitals. On the schedule for today?

Darnassus.

Getting there was half the fun, it seemed, as a run through Auberdine was required before one could even reach Teldrassil island. Quickly running through throngs of guards, Nu made his way to the nearest ship, and it was anchors aweigh!
Now, of course, as anyone knows, Darnassus is a snooze. So, after a quick ride through town, it was off to Shadowglen for the real party. After twice disposing of the, erm, fearsome level 60 druid that appeared to rule the village, Nuance was given a hero's welcome. Night Elf and Demon alike joined together to celebrate this joyous occasion.
The local men could only stand in wonder as their women found a walking corpse to be infinitely more appealing than the usual Night Elven roster of leet-speaking numbskulls. Another successful (panty) raid for the Horde!

That evil time of year again

First things first grats to everyone on our few mins shy of a 45min run.Also grats to Melss for finally getting some pants.As the years winds to a close we are now entering the holiday season.What does this mean you ask,well mostly that all of the retail workers of the Meats will prolly not be on as much.So lets try hard in the next 2 weeks to get in as much as we can because after Nov.25 most of my limited WOW time will be in BG's.Anyways Happy Holidays to all and "LETS DO THIS".

Lighties Cheat!

Further proof that the lighties indeed do cheat in the game. Take a look at the number of players in the bottom left of the BG scoreboard. You might have to enlarge the picture. The numbers stayed this way for over 5 minutes. I'm not saying we lost because if this, im just saying there's just something not right here. :) Oh and never mind that I'm using the cowards way to survive here. Its just a lot easyier than dying every 2 seconds.

Yes, it seems that, after an extended absense, the "dread" warlock known as Nuance has returned to Azeroth. When asked why he would dare return after such a long period of peace and prosperity, Nu simply answered, "Boobies."

Back on track

Finally after nearly a week and a half the Meats over come their horrid work scheduels and we come together for a nice LBRS run.First grats go out to kumor as he finally got his BS shoulders putting him 1 piece away from a full set.Also a special cheer to Hadrea who joined us on her first major run with the guild.Soon she will be getting all the phat warlock loots.Hopefully we can get a UBRS run again soon so all you absent Meats please come back and visit.

Wee! A 'semi' finished product..

Yes.. 'semi' finished. I'm not sure if I quite like the 'crisp lines' of the foreground elf... but then again.. i like the powerful colors. <--I've always liked high end colors.. :P But.. here is at least one version (if I decide to do more varients there of). I dunno.. is it too chaotic? I personally love the sky and the overall feel. But meh.. I digress. Let me know whatcha think. :D

Oops the Meats did it again

Once again we prove all the nay sayers including myself this time wrong.With only a 9 man crew with minimal crowd control on our first UBRS attemp we made it all the way to the generals room.I am extremly pround of everyone special grats go out to Zypow on his Spalders of the Elements,and Miang on his(block starts to cry) Skull Flame shield that dropped off some trash mobs.Next run will be soon I wanna see the general go down this time!

Baron Down

Finally on our 3rd attempt the good Baron has Fallen,Grats to Miang on his Valor pants hopefully now that we have a strategey he will fall much easier in the future.We also managed to finish about 3/4 of the Live side also.In further grats news Verro has become the first 60 priest in the meats.Our roster is looking good just need that Mage now and I hope we will be getting the upper key soon so that we can keep moving upward in our endevors.I still belive a MC raid is not far in the future for us.Untill next time Good Job and Good Luck

Group Hug

So finally after some much needed down time the Meats are back up and running with a sucsessful(But poor loot) run of LBRS.I have been thinking recently about setting up a Raid scheduel so that we can work around everyones needs,since for alot of us we work strange hours.So I think for step one I would like for everyone to post the times they can play for at least 2-3hrs and also where they would like to Raid too(for quest,gear or whatever).Also I want to get everyone MC attuned just in case we manage to work out grping terms with another guild,So this means we got to start running BRD.Anyways good run tonight and we're looking at Wed and Sat for our next big runs.

Finally we have completed a LBRS run,on what started out as one of our worst in history.But all turned out well aside from the horribly crappy loot.Good Job everyone we'll see what we can get going for next week.

Before I get to the congrats I feel the need to point out,we finally caught Tsuki looking at Meat like a fat kid looking at an apple pie (BUSTED).On a serious note congrats on the scholo run last night for a 5 man grp with no Tank and no Priest I say we did pretty damn good.Now sadly we still have several more runs to go :( Good Job everyone

4 Man goodness

Thats right folks Marvel at the 4 man(non Tank mind you) Team that managed to kill two of the LBRS bosses,and come out with many new PHAT lewts.We recived a Devout belt,Shadowcraft belt,Some nice Plate shoulders(i told you to be a man yuk :) ),and many other nice little knic knacs.Anyways good job all and goodbye.

Hello everyone I know this pic is about 2 weeks late,I havent been able to post anything for some reason.But here it is our trip to LBRS,everything is still kinda funky this week with V's folks still outta town but hopefully once they get back and V and I are not working 7 days straight we can do some more raiding.

Wow.. another picture.. so soon after I finished Kumor. It's Nu! For those of you with special requests (Lat.. I know you mentioned something about that uber Rogue gear.. do you want me to wait until you have a pic of you in that stuff?) Remember folks.. I'm only going to do close ups and whatnot.. and they're by no means 'time intensive' drawings. This drawing alone took about 15 minutes to do. (Yes Nu.. it's tru :D but I luv the smirk I put on you.. it seems fitting.)

I am steadily workin on ppls characters. I tried to keep with the same doodle-esque sketching that I did with Tsuki. I plan on doing that with everyone.. to hopefully keep the pictures sort of together (like a GUILD.. wow) . It's been a while since my Tsuki picture but I hope to pick up the pace some since I'm not too busy at the moment. :D

MOE 2006

Hello to all the Meats of Evil sorry for the long delay in posting I have just been very busy lately.I have noticed lately alot of you are asking me what we do now that most of us are 60 or very close to it.My hope is to hit some of the higher end dungeons but to do this we need either more people or more diverse classes in the guild.Most everyone has said they do not want to add alot of new people to the guild,So the only other option I see is Alts which is why some of you may have been seeing alot more of Hunk,Wabbit,Vero and Block.That being said we are still going to need about 20-30 people in the guild to be able to do what we need to do,but we do not want just anyone invited so from here on out any NEW non-alt members must be cleared with guild officers before given invites.On happier note Grats to Aro and Kak on 59 and Nu on 58 I belive they should all be able to hit 60 within the week giving us 8 people now to hit the 60 mark,I feel a guild WSG is coming very soon WATCH OUT ALLIANCE! I am also considering starting us up a Team Speak server as this makes high end raiding and BGing much easier.Anyways I am most proud of everyone keep up the good work Viva la Meats of Evil!

Nuance, seen here standing in front of a random Silithid spire that was dropped in the middle of freaking Gadgetzan, enjoys Blizzard's latest addition to the laggy hell from which there is no escape. Man, gathering all those war effort resources for the past two months sure was worth it. The Alliance now has all sorts of new ways to gain rep while the Horde looks on in disbelief at how several instant cast spells don't seem to give you credit for attacking it, but the second a lightie even looks at it, the thing goes grey and you get no credit for killing it.

No, I'm not bitter at all.

Sightseeing

Nuance takes a trip through the Alliance capitol cities, starting in Stormwind, hanging about in the Deeprun Tram, and finally attempting (and ultimately failing) to exit through Ironforge.

A game of cat-and-mouse ensued through Stormwind, but our hero (let's assume that he is) finally made it to the tram, where he hid out for a bit and confused the crowds of lighties with his presense. As luck would have it, awesome human warlock Vampi happened upon the scene and decided to hang out with our intrepid undead explorer.

Eventually, all good things must come to an end, and Nuance exited on the Ironforge side, where he was immediately mobbed, killed, and corpse-camped.

All-in-all, still better than visiting Delaware. And there's pictures!

Nuance gets stoned!

Nuance (seen here dancing on top of the map being used by the Horde's top strategists) has achieved the rank of Stone Guard and gained entry to the Hall of Legends! This isn't terribly amazing, but hey... funny pic! Woo!

AV.. Alli-Victory?

Just once I would have enjoyed seeing what it is like for Horde to win an AV battle. I've been quite a rogue and had fun running around in their totally skewed side of the map. It's totally unfair the advantage they have over us. But anyway, I enjoyed staring at the ugly, repulsive, bitchy Balinda whom most of the horde tries to kill every AV battle. Unfortunately for us this time, she lived.. and of course horde.. lost. Needless to say, no one really was all that shocked. (The great part is sneaking around Alli and them having no clue that I was even in any of their base territories.. jerks :P)

non-meats news

Grats go out to Melba who on her FIRST MC run managed to get herself 3 pieces of cenarian armor.While Meat managed a measly 1 piece of giantstalker.But oh well,In Meats news I have on the horizon a 10 man Strath raid planned as well as a 5 man Dire Maul run (Both will have a lvl 53 limit).Also if anyone still needs Sunken Temple or Mauradon runs let me know and we'll try and work out a time thats good for you.
